VAMPIRES, BUMS, AND COPS

Here’s a few character designs from a new project I’m currently working on. I don’t want to jinx it and give away any info on it until all the “business” stuff is finalized. Details will follow soon.

NEW ARTWORK

Here’s a few pieces I did this week. First up is a drawing of Lil’ Wayne, I wanted to force my self to draw something outside of my comfort zone. This was new and different for me, it was a good challenge. Next is Ryu, I got the new Street Fighter IV game and Im obsessed, so I had to do some fan art. Last is good ol’ Edward Scissorhands, I used to draw in this pen and ink/hash-mark style a lot but I haven’t in while. It just seemed right for this one and I love how it came out…

Hey all..just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the nice comments about Dreavyn. It’s been one of the craziest weeks of my life but easily the best as well. He is the cutest, most amazing baby, but I guess I’m a little biased on that! I’ll slowly get back into a “normal” life and get some new art up here eventually. Gotta’ go, I think I here little man crying…

I guess it’s about time for the first blog of 2009. I’m very excited about this year, it’s going to be a big year for me! Fatherhood, a new GC record and lots of new projects in the works with my art. I’ve been very busy getting ready for the baby, so there isn’t much new artwork to share right now.
Last month when I had my Level 27/Vault 28 signing, I had my friend Matt Grayson come to my house and take a few promo photos of me for the event advertising. My 2008 Holiday drawing…this one took me a while to finish. I always shy away from backgrounds because they are harder for me to draw. With this drawing I purposefully drew a complex background for the challenge. I’m pretty happy with the turnout. I went and printed a bunch of blank holiday cards with this on the front to send to my family and friends. I held ten aside to sell on my webstore. I’m selling them in sets of 2 with the envelopes, so thats means only five sets are for sale. If you are interested check them out in store link below. Happy Holidays!
